Matthew "Matt" Hilpert was born in Pittsburg, CA, and grew-up in the same town with his three sisters. If he could live anywhere in the world, he would live on Maui in Hawaii because of the tropical climate, marine environment and abundant opportunities for scuba diving. Matt enjoys teaching at LCA because he loves the subject he teaches (chemistry!) and he loves the Lord. In his free time, Matt likes to play volleyball, basketball and football (he's also coaching soccer and football). He also enjoys gardening! Matt and his wife, Rachel, have three fabulous children: Joshua, Abigail and Benjamin.
